For Podcasters

I’m a podcaster and would like to join the Portus Podcast Palooza. How can I join?

The response from podcasters has been so amazing that as of January 1, 2008, the Podcast Palooza is completely booked. If you would like to be on the wait list should a spot become available, please email us at podcast@portus2008.org. Due to the popularity of the Palooza, we cannot guarantee any spots will become available.

I'm a podcaster; do I qualify for participation?

If your podcast centers on discussion of the Harry Potter novels or the Harry Potter fan community, you do qualify. You must have published at least six podcasts by the time you make your request. You must also agree to the following:

  • Your content will be rated R or lower
  • Both Portus and your podcast will jointly broadcast your Palooza podcast
  • If you are receiving Press Passes as part of the agreement, your podcast will publish news on a regular basis about Portus between the time of acceptance and the symposium.

Is there a limit to the number of podcasts that can participate?

Yes. Signups for participation are on a first-come, first-served basis. At this time, the Palooza is completely booked. If you would like to be on the wait list should a spot become available, please email us at podcast@portus2008.org. Due to the popularity of the Palooza, we cannot guarantee any spots will become available.
